Juniors

Kelburne is extremely proud of it's junior section, with many of it's juniors going on to represent Scotland and even Great Britain.

There are many training sessions for juniors to attend. New Junior members of 4-14 years of age usually start by coming on a Saturday Morning.

Saturday Morning training goes on all through the year stopping only at Christmas and New Year. It always takes place whatever the weather
unless the pitch is unplayable. Below is the map to find Kelburne Hockey Club.

There are youth festivals that take place during the hockey season for age groups U10's, U12's, U14's. Those who impress at these then take part in Competitions and are nominated to play for the district. In the winter as well as the outdoor training, indoor training also begins.

Nine junior members also attend the Glasgow School of Sport; the first sport specialised school in Britain.

There are Male and Female Kelburne members representing Scotland at every age group all the way through to Full national level.

Do you see yourself representing Scotland one day? Come and give it a go!
